Coverage & Duration
All DIYKEY products are covered under our 1-year, all-inclusive manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty period starts when the product is delivered to the first end-user.
This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies granted to you by applicable consumer protection laws. Any legal remedy granted to you (e.g., the right to claim lack of conformity within 12 months) remains completely unaffected.

Manufacturing Defects🔒 Serial Number Requirement
This warranty does not extend to any product (e.g., keyboards or PCBs) whose serial number has been defaced, removed, or altered.
Exclusions from Warranty
To ensure fairness, this warranty only applies to products used under normal conditions and in accordance with the provided instructions. The following situations are NOT covered:
- Defects caused by wrongful use, incorrect installation (e.g., pushing switches too hard and breaking hot-swap sockets), or neglect.
- Incorrect repairs or modifications: Issues arising from aftermarket lubing, spring swapping, desoldering, or flashing incorrect firmware.
- Physical damage caused by drops, spills, lightning, fire, water, or other events of force majeure.
- Defects in consumables (e.g., switch lubricants) or issues arising from use beyond the expected lifetime of the product.
- Normal wear and tear, including keycap shine or slight acoustic changes over prolonged heavy typing.
How to Claim Warranty
If you experience an issue that falls under our warranty, we will review your case and provide further instructions or a replacement within 2-3 business days. To claim your warranty, you must provide:
Proof of Purchase
The original invoice or order number from DIYKEY.
Visual Evidence
A clear image or short video demonstrating the defect or problem.

Please send all warranty requests along with the required documents to our support team at support@diykey.net.
Incorrect Product or Color
If you find that the product or color you received is not what was ordered, please take a photo that includes the product and the original tracking label on the package.
Email this photo to support@diykey.net within 7 days of delivery. We will immediately arrange a free replacement or a refund according to your preference. We will cover all return shipping costs in such cases.
